  • Nadat de power plant een veiligheidsinspectie over de vloer krijgt, wordt Homer verplicht om naar de universiteit te trekken en daar het juiste diploma te halen. Op de universiteit krijgt hij te maken met een 'dean' die net iets té sympathiek is, een varken met machtige vrienden én nerds die al eens last hebben van een bloedneus. 

    'Homer goes to college' is één van de drie Conan O'Brien afleveringen van The Simpsons, en ondertussen ook uitgegroeid tot één van de klassiekers van seizoen 5.
