Simmi Chopra Bhatia speaks to us about her incredible challenges such as surviving cancer, to going from being a molecular biologist to an ayurvedic practitioner now in NYC. She tells us about the specific system used to address each person's health, and how it is broken down by constitution, what foods best fit each type of person, how the purity of supplements are to be requested by patients, and how to be careful about taking up the next popular food on the horizon. Often not understanding that something like popular recipes online or on TV such as smoothies with raw greens like kale or broccoli, when taken daily without cooking them can start to affect the body negatively without the person's knowledge, leading to other unseen health issues that have to be addressed. She put some light on the new way medical science has found that by studying how genes react to this form of healing it can track if this form of healing is a successful way to prevent disease or of healing of a disease or illness.
