  • 今週、坂の上に訪ねてきてくださったのは、俳人で月刊俳句新聞「子規新報」編集長の小西昭夫さん。八幡浜市出身で「新興俳句の旗手」と称された富沢赤黄男（とみざわかきお）についてお話を伺いました。八幡浜市保内町に生まれた赤黄男は“保内町三英傑の一人”とされ、生誕地には石碑が建てられ、町内の公園に「赤沢赤黄男句碑広場」が設けられるなど、地域の人々に親しまれています。昭和初期に起こった俳句革新運動を牽引した彼の足跡を、「エリート育ち」「俳句は詩である」「赤黄男俳句を読み解く」の３つで紐解きます。
