Jenny's friends are lost one by one to a ghostly wolf and a phantom snake, instruments of the sinister but attractive Shadow Man, who has returned from the Shadow World with a deadly game called "Lambs and Monsters."
I love this book. This was a favorite of mine in high school. I feel like there are many adult themed complexities that revel in multiple mythologies. The narrator seems to make all the characters a bit whiney, but I'll take it. Still surprised this isn't a terrible teen movie yet.
Jenny thought all her troubles were over when her enemy was trapped by magic, but now he's out and after the one thing he desires above any other, Jenny herself. Determined to force her to come to him, Julian steals Jenny's friends away one by one, forcing her into a desperate race to find them. This is the thrilling sequel to The Hunter. Packed full of suspense and a healthy dose of fear, this book makes for compulsive listening.

One of my favourite book series'
Loved it since I was a teenager and the second book is probably my favourite.
Khristine preforms it brilliantly. Highly recommended the whole series on this format.
