we are travelling around Queensland and have thoroughly enjoyed both the llast DCI Ryan book and now this one. Can't wait to download the next! They are so well written by LJ Ross and so well read by Johnathan Keeble. Recommended to all who enjoy intriguing detective novels.

Do yourselves a favour and read/listen to this series. Each novel presents its own elegant mystery, while retaining a compelling thread of subplots that develop the characters and promise continued adventures.

The macabre of Inspector Morse, the team humour and camaraderie of Inspector Frost blended with the cozy stability of Midsomer Murders. Love this series, love this writer.

There are hints and red herrings galore that the lover of murder mystery can explore & challenge themselves to solve before DI Ryan & his team. The excellent narration ups the anti on excitement and fear.
