About this listen

If you could turn back the clock and fix all the mistakes you ever made, would you?

From the author of the award-winning Web-novel Reborn: Evolving from Nothing comes the tale of Micheal Care, a swordsman that could only be considered a middling warrior in Humanity's Last Army.

Micheal's answer to that question would be quite simple.

Yes. A million times yes.

Humanity has fallen, killed by stronger races of beings after being warped away to a new reality, the mystical Seven Layers.

Humanity's goal had been simple. Make it through all Seven Layers and reach Heaven.

Humanity failed.

Humanity died.

Micheal Care's memories have been transported back into his past self thanks to a magical Artifact he found by chance.

He is no chosen savior. He is no divinely picked hero.

Can he change the future? Can he catch up to the mightiest warriors of humanity and surpass them?

Listen and find out.

One of the best series I've encountered so far.
Sure, the author takes their time releasing books, but for good reason. Imagine writing a tale of an MC with a monumentally difficult task; 10 years of future knowledge with an insurmountable power difference to overcome in order to have even the faintest shot at success. World building is excellent. Combat is highly detailed (one fight can span multiple chapters) but for good reason: believability. MC is fighting opponents far stronger than himself with a tightrope to victory.
Narrator is top notch. Characters are all uniquely distinct and brought to life.
Also excellent value if that's your thing. Each book is around 20 hours or 700 pages.

I have listened to many many Litrpg audio books. I was very sceptical due to the name. But I now rate it in my top 3.

Overall loved it, there are a couple times it over repeats itself but the ideas of the shop system and limitations was really cool

Enjoyable listen

It has the same sort of premise as reincarnator which I enjoyed aswell. The novel has the quality to go the mile.

While the song was a bit of pandering it didnt detract to much from the MC's goals and objectives.

The time travel was by chance and not a planned decision, it is believable for the most part when it comes to his thoughts and actions.

The numbers of people comming every round is a bit dumb as it would take as many people as the last round supplied just to manage the incomming people and for the top brass to find the irregulars out of millions of people is pretty absurd, when in reality they would be working on increasing thier own strength.

+ The MC and sofia are like tarzan and jane.

Looking forward to the next book.
