Die kleine Hexe Zuckerguss hat neue Sorgen: Ihre Schwester Pumpernickel findet das Leben im Hexenwald altmodisch. Auf einmal braucht sie Eierkocher, Discobeleuchtung und DVD-Spieler, und sie hext alles, was sie hat, in elektrische Geräte um. Auch ein Dieselgenerator brummt nun auf der bisher so friedlichen Lichtung und raubt Zuckerguss die Ruhe. Was soll sie tun? Als Pumpernickel auch noch ein Auto und eine Asphaltstraße braucht, wimmelt es am Waldsee vor Ausflüglern, und Zuckerguss ist kurz davor auszuwandern. Da kommt unerwarteter Besuch. Und von Besuch kann man lernen.
