In den Ferien besucht Otti die Oma auf dem Land - ganz allein! Ohne ihre Freundinnen und auch ohne Fernseher und Computer. Die Oma ist lieb, aber sie scheint noch nicht mitbekommen zu haben, dass Otti mittlerweile ein großes Mädchen geworden ist. Deshalb droht Langeweile an jedem einzelnen Ferientag. Doch Otti verfällt auf sehr ungewöhnliche Ideen, um diese erst gar nicht aufkommen zu lassen. Mal beißt sie heimlich Äpfel an, mal spielt sie Fußball in Lackschuhen, mal schleudert sie die Milchkanne wild im Kreis. Otti erlebt eine Menge und muss sich überhaupt nicht mehr mopsen.
