Christmas is a very important holiday in Western countries. It is celebrated on December 25, but many people begin shopping for it after Thanksgiving. They buy many things, like presents for family and friends, Christmas trees, Christmas cards, and so on.
On Christmas Eve, family members often get together. They decorate the house and the Christmas tree and prepare for Christmas Day. Santa Claus begins to deliver presents to children on Christmas Eve too.
