Publisher's Summary

Savannah is tired of the dating scene, even though she wants to get married and have a family. She knows her mother will never move on with her own life as long as Savannah is single. Savannah goes to see a matchmaker, specializing in setting up couples who meet at the altar. At first, she thinks Scott is a dream come true, but his blundering soon makes her crazy.

Scott, a Montana bison rancher, doesn't have time to find a wife. His work is all-encompassing. Besides, he tends to have a hard time getting women to go out with him more than once. When he runs into a matchmaker he's known all his life, he tells her about the problems he's had to see if she can help him. When he meets Savannah at the altar, his heart stops for a moment. She's exactly what he's looking for. Will their diverse backgrounds keep them apart? Or, will they be able to work through their differences to make their marriage a loving relationship?

Pleasant, bland, romance

Narrator did ok with unlikely storyline of a couple meeting at the altar and forging a love story from repetitive man/woman cliche's. Good book to fall asleep to.

How she narrated the feelings of the characters

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Hilarious adventure into modern day mail order brides

Interesting story line

Would you consider the audio edition of Married in Montana to be better than the print version?

I have not read the printed version, but I like being able to "hear" the characters in the story.

What did you like best about this story?

It is an interesting idea for a story. I liked how Savannah and Scott were instantly attracted to each other.

What about Tiffany Williams’s performance did you like?

Tiffany is very expressive and I have enjoyed everything that I have listened to.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It is funny when both Savannah and Scott called the matchmaker freaking out about the issues they were having. I loved how Scott was kind of clueless when it came to getting along with Savannah.

Any additional comments?

I can't wait until I get a chance to "read" the rest of this series.

Marry in haste...

The hero and heroine meet at the altar for a modern arranged marriage. This sets up the relationship conflict. I like taking a break from novels with an external, evil villian out to get the couple. Instead, this is a couple struggling to adjust to both marriage and each other. Both characters are only children with dominant personalities which adds to the conflict. Events in the book reminded me of my own early years of marriage and made the book seem so believable.

The narrator is one of the few females who can do an excellent male voice. Her voicing of the book just added to my enjoyment.

A delightful start to a wonderful series!

The first in a series about two people meeting for the first time at the altar before agreeing to be married for a minimum of a year. This book had me laughing throughout, at the many blunders of a newlywed couple. Poor Scott is clueless when it comes to women and especially romance. I enjoyed the journey - this is my second time listening to the audiobook, and I'll definitely be visiting again!

Strangers marry

I had a few laughs reading this book. The husband was so clueless as to what a modern woman wants or needs.

Open Up your heart.

What did you love best about Married in Montana?

Makes you wonder if you could do this. That is what I loved best is that it really makes you think. Could I do this? First you might say no way but would you change you mind if it starts going good?

What did you like best about this story?

I liked best the authors way of having them getting to know each other. What I didn't like was him not ever telling her their financial statis.

What does Tiffany Williams bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Tiffany Williams brought reality to the characters by bring them to life. She did well.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes I did want to listen to this all in one sitting and I did. And I might read it again is a good story, a little short but very good for a short story.

A fun summer read!

Married in Montana was a fun book to listen to. Going from serious, to funny, to exasperating, to romantic, I felt all the emotions. Tiffany Williams' voice was real, giving each character his/her own voice. This book isn't a deep drama, but light hearted fun in a shorter style. I look forward to the rest of the books in the series.
I was given this audio book in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
