Christer Nygren, född 1956 i Sundsvall, är journalist och författare. Han har bland annat arbetat på Dagbladet och Sundsvalls Tidning. Under 1980- och 1990-talet skrev han åtta hårdkokta deckare som skildrar ett sönderfallande samhälle.
