I have listened to Better books By Heather
Book one ranger.
There was a lot of romance in this book, whereas I preferred missions and action.
It took a while, but finally, We got to the crime and how our shadows we're going to solve it.
I did enjoy the way Heather has put these books together, giving us little climaxes and little bits of information as we delve into each book.
there are some cheesy parts, and some dialogue isn't something I'd think they'd say, but they're only small eyeroll situations for me.
It's enjoyable to hear of past alphas that we have read or listened to and how they are all using their expertise to piece it all together.
Book 2 Diesel.
I liked this book the most, and although we had romance blossoming , it was in the middle of the mission/recovery. There was little steam in this book, and it was the same in book one. However, it was refreshing to have people concentrating on their job instead of wanting to jump their love interests bones. Like usual, the alphas fall fast, but it is mainly through the admiration of their h working by their side
With this book, we get another small climax and more tid bits into the culprit
Book 3 wasp.
Now, book 3 dragged a bit for me as it went back 7 years to how the heroine and the hero met, then we had a lot of romance and a slight mission to solve in amongst the back story. which happened for the 1st half of the book.
Then we got a lot of recapping of the past 2 books told from a different point of view and yet a new idea is launched which gives us another small climax and sends us to the last in the series which I will be listening to next.
I just love Stephanie and J. I have listened to them through all of Heather's works and the accents they both do, just carry an extra bit of special into these novels
