Publisher's Summary

When Bea Bishop slips while walking down the aisle on her wedding day, she is momentarily knocked unconscious. And in a flash, her world splits and two separate parallel lives take her on two very different journeys.

In one, Bea flees back down the aisle and out of the church. In the other, she glides blissfully towards Adam, her intended. Which story will lead to her happy-ever-after?

Not recommended 😝

Too much weeping and wailing and self pity 😔
Needed to be shorter and less repetitive. Boring and too long. Sorry

Written in the stars

An emotional book tackling many subjects mirrored in my own life, this book was uplifting and cleverly written. Enjoyed it.

Written in the stars

I enjoyed this very much. Bit soppy towards end in my opinion, but enjoyable.
A great listen. An enjoyable book.

Loved this book didn't want it to end.

I love this book. If you like the film sliding doors then you will enjoy this.
The character lives 2 lives parallel to each. In one she is married to Adam the other she leaves him at the alter. I would listen every chance I got. The writer has you going through all the emotions with the characters. Well worth a listen.

Awful

Awful story line which is painful to listen to. Had high hopes for this as enjoyed her previous books.

Stop with the whining!

Would not recommend at all!
There is way too much self-pity and whinging for my liking. Lasted 3 hours and just couldn’t stand it another minute of it. The narrator also kept speaking in a child like voice - very annoying!
LOVED the concept, but executed in a bad way in my opinion.

Very poor rendition of an otherwise interesting concept.

I have listened to almost 200 books on this site over the years and love audible. I was inspired to write a review of this novel due to it's unabashed waste of space. It's not badly written nor narrated. The crux of the problem with this is the story itself in which the reader finds herself loathing the main character who is so self obsessed we could repeat all of her issues like a mantra without trying. The repetition throughout the story is nothing if not painful. It takes the basic concept of its 'sliding doors' predecessor and creates a more mundane un imaginative version.

Interesting twist, but annoying narrator's voice

The story had an interesting twist, but the narrator's voice ruined it for me. It made me feel that the main character was 90 years old, not around 30. It was off putting.
