Publisher's Summary

Joe Dispenza, DC, has spent decades studying the human mind - how it works, how it stores information, and why it perpetuates the same behavioral patterns over and over. In the acclaimed film What the Bleep Do We Know!?, he began to explain how the brain evolves - by learning new skills, developing the ability to concentrate in the midst of chaos, and even healing the body and the psyche. Evolve Your Brain presents this information in depth, while helping you take control of your mind, explaining how thoughts can create chemical reactions that keep you addicted to patterns and feelings - including ones that make you unhappy. And when you know how these bad habits are created, it's possible to not only break these patterns, but also reprogram and evolve your brain, so that new, positive, and beneficial habits can take over.

Great theory but lacks actual life solutions.

Very in depth, excellent details about how the mind works, so it was very interesting. But I was really hoping for more instructions on how to apply it to my life.

ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS I HAVE EVER READ

This book is amazing. It covers all aspects of psychology in the first half of the book and then goes into how to make change in our lives in a way that is lasting. I have read his books before, but this one is by far the best. Great narrator also.

Extremely Insightful and interesting

Provides a good understanding of how the brain works and opens up a whole new set of options by enabling/introducing an evolutionary thinking pattern that helps utilize that understanding.

pseudo science at its finest.

A compilation of pseudo science and confirmation bias. I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone. The author has attributed general physical therapy benefits to spirituality and junk science. I'm trying to figure out how to get a refund now.

Woo nonsense

Sadly the promise of interesting neuroscientific content quickly fades into a dangerous story of woo and pseudoscience.
