Not guilty

I know the legal system and understand how they mess with your mind. I feel for this guy and to have to live with a guilty plea when you know if you plead not guilty the prosecutor has to prove your guilt to a jury. He did not have a chance. So who is lying ?

GREAT STORY

This would have been SO difficult, to investigate, to interview, to prosecute... but most of all, to LIVE with.
I can't begin to imagine what the families must have felt.
The narration was superb, I was never left wondering "WHO were they again" or "hand on which one said that"
The ONLY thing I have negative to say is that, it being a series, it NEEDS to keep you hooked, so it's broken up into parts that, just like a t.v. show, leave you wanting to hear more RIIIIGHT at the end of every part.
another gripe I have - not at this series - but to Audible itself, is that because it's a series we can't review the WHOLE SERIES!!!
This is very frustrating as we (I) don't know WHICH ONE should get the review. (I'm going to copy this one and leave it on the first and last one).... Audible - get this fixed - surely I'm not the only person who has expressed this opinion.

Repetitive and pretty dull

It had all the ingredients for good yarn but I found it dull and repetitive, and couldn't wait for it to finish. Disappointing.

Great podcast

Not the ending I was expecting. Keen to hear from those who wouldn’t speak!! Great journalism. Well presented.

moving gripping left us wondering for days

Having spent time in the NT -this is reality story telling at its best. Northern Territory style indeed. Excellent reporting and production.

Bad judge of character

This series was a waste of my time, the investigator is terrible at judging people and all he succeeded in doing was sullying the name of a dead person by giving credit to a accusation that was unfounded and had no evidence...maybe he would have better luck writing a children’s book.

An incomplete investigation.

After having listened to the entire series, I feel this investigation really wasn’t able to come to any sort of conclusion. The facts and evidence were glossed over, and the massive, glaring holes in the case were insufficiently addressed. The story of Jimmy’s death was really interesting, yet this investigation failed to uncover anything worthy of note. Felt more like it was aiming for high drama rather than the actual truth. 2 stars overall.
