Publisher's Summary

In November 2007, Philip Mather was arrested on suspicion of luring his good mate, 22-year old Jimmy O’Connell, out into the Northern Territory bush, punching and stomping him into unconsciousness, before setting fire to Jimmy’s car... with Jimmy in it. But did he do it? Jimmy’s parents don’t think so. Journalist Mark Whittaker investigates.

Such an Australian Story!

This is fantastic. There was no slow bits, just fully investigated leads. Worth a listen.

GREAT STORY

This would have been SO difficult, to investigate, to interview, to prosecute... but most of all, to LIVE with.
I can't begin to imagine what the families must have felt.
The narration was superb, I was never left wondering "WHO were they again" or "hand on which one said that"
The ONLY thing I have negative to say is that, it being a series, it NEEDS to keep you hooked, so it's broken up into parts that, just like a t.v. show, leave you wanting to hear more RIIIIGHT at the end of every part.
another gripe I have - not at this series - but to Audible itself, is that because it's a series we can't review the WHOLE SERIES!!!
This is very frustrating as we (I) don't know WHICH ONE should get the review. (I'm going to copy this one and leave it on the first and last one).... Audible - get this fixed - surely I'm not the only person who has expressed this opinion.

Fantastic

Didn’t disappoint. Loved every minute. I ignored my family for 4 hours as I needed to get to the end.

Aussie true crime

I love nothing more than a great Aussie true crime story. Very well researched and retold.
