Not a bad crime story, nice character development however I picked the ending in the first couple of chapters which was disappointing. Was way too obvious in my opinion. Narrator is great!

I enjoy this genre. This book listens like it will deliver a solid series with characters that can be followed and enjoyed. I am involved with the main parties already and look forward to hearing how they evolve. Enjoyable and engaging narration makes every character come to life. Really happy with this one.

Predictable but promising for a future partnership. The narrator was not my cup of tea. I did not enjoy her accents at all. Sometimes (actually most if the time) she spoke so fast with staccato, harsh pacing I had to look to look it up and see if I had somehow changed the speed to 1.5. For the story sake I persevered but I’m wouldn’t I’d buy a book to listen to her again; it would have to be provided as part of the subscription.
