About this listen

A killer is playing cat and mouse...and winning.

DCI Whitney Walker’s in trouble. She’s threatened with demotion if she screws up another case. So, when a killer starts murdering female students, it’s a chance to redeem herself.

Forensic psychologist, Dr. Georgina Cavendish, has spent her life inside the university walls, but when one of her students is murdered, she steps out from behind the text books and puts her skills to the test.

The two headstrong women join forces to stop the killer. But sparks fly when real world policing meets academic theory, and it’s not a pretty sight.

Deadly Games is the first book in the Cavendish & Walker crime fiction series. If you like serial killer mysteries and psychological intrigue, then you’ll love Sally Rigby’s thrilling listen performed by award-winning narrator Clare Corbett.

Includes a special bonus note from the author.

Not a bad crime story, nice character development however I picked the ending in the first couple of chapters which was disappointing. Was way too obvious in my opinion. Narrator is great!

Quite enjoyed this, narrator was good at bringing characters to life. The story was okay not the most original but interesting enough. Really liked the characters though, will try another one as interesting partnership, hopefully the story lines improve.

Pretty good story

I enjoyed this book, however I found myself shouting at the detectives, "Track the cell phones" Sally didn't address that in their investigations of the murders. I never understood why that wasn't discussed.

It seems that I now have another author to collect. I'll check for book two immediately. The narrator was a perfect match for this book so hope they don't change her.

Nice easy read

This is the first book in the series. I liked how the women met and formed a relationship. The story was interesting but not gripping. I am interested in how the partnership develops. The narrator is easy to listen to.
