Publisher's Summary

In the distant past, a time of magic and swordplay, there lived Harold, the mightiest lich of all, a master of arcane sciences, and a challenger of gods. After reaching the pinnacle of his power and finding it surprisingly bland, Harold waged a cataclysmic war against the gods, aiming to shatter the very system that confined him.

Then, he took a nap.

An incredibly long nap that ends with a jolt, thanks to an unwitting adventurer who trips into Harold's crypt. Blinking into the torchlight, Harold finds a world he barely recognizes. No more swords and sorcery, but a universe buzzing with cultivation, celestial sects, and far too many pretentious dialogues about the path to godhood.

Harold is no naïve cultivator. He's an ancient lich with a single ambition: to slide back into his uninterrupted eternal slumber. But the cacophony of quarreling sects and smug martial artists seems determined to keep him awake.

Undeterred, the sleep-deprived overlord is ready to confront this brave new world. After all, no aspiring deity, no grandiose sect, and certainly no self-righteous martial artist is going to rob him of his beauty sleep.

A Licĥ Comedian

An overpowered skeleton with sick humour and just enough interesting companions to enthrall the reader. Looking forward to the next book.

Great storytelling and another fantastic Sound Booth Theatre production!!!

Brilliant job as always by the narrators at SBT, the story was similarly captivating, entertaining and humorous. But the narration really brought the author's world to life. Can't wait for the next audio book to be released.

A Ravendagger novel is always a treat ho ho ho

The adventures of Harold and his limped is a genre savvy adventure, love the puns and a great twist on the cultivation expectations looking forwards to book 2, soundbooth theaters hit it out of the park. Ps. love the recipe for cookies, great touch!

Always Love Soundbooth

Soundbooth as always knocked it out of the park, not often a fan of ravendagger's works but the production really made it. If your like me and not really a fan of 4th wall breaks and random puns I'd say stick with it for a a few chapters as the world building and other main cast is quite good, especially Alex being my favourite.
