This is the story of Dragomir and Emeline Sanchez. Emmeline has amazing gifts and while saving children from vampires is taken prisoner by a master vampire and the results are devastating and she ends up hiding in a compound afraid to leave her house, When the master vampire attempts to reacquire her things take a dramatic turn and her world is turned upside down and could be wonderful if she could just trust it but, having been a street orphan abandoned by everyone will make that very difficult. I highly recommend this audio book and the series as a whole.

As usual Christine has written another dark story to keep us engrossed in the plot but has left me knowing there is more to come can’t wait for the follow on of this story
