Publisher's Summary

From the author of My Husband's Wife, Penguin presents the unabridged downloadable audiobook edition of Blood Sisters by Jane Corry, read by Zoe Thorne and Emilia Fox.

Three little girls set off to school one sunny May morning. Within an hour one of them is dead.

Fifteen years later Alison and Kitty are living separate lives. Kitty lives in a care home. She can't speak, and she has no memory of the accident that put her there or her life before it. Art teacher Alison looks fine on the surface. But the surface is a lie. When a job in a prison comes up, she decides to take it - this is her chance to finally make things right.

But someone is watching Kitty and Alison. Someone who wants revenge for what happened that day. And only another life will do....

The worst!

This book was massively boring. Nothing about this book shocked me as a thriller. It was pretty flat the entire way through

I loved this book

Amazing story with a few twists and turns. Excellent narration and very likeable characters. Kitty made me laugh out loud with her comments. Can't wait for Jane Corry's next book.

Flat

A good basic plot, but bad execution. Could have done with much better editing. The final twist negates a lot of what was already established as truth. The writing is basic and repetitive (you can’t ‘blurt’ everything you say!).
But, the plot held me until the end. Alright as an easy listen, but don’t expect much.

J Corry Blood Sisters

Was so much repetition throughout the book really necessary. I found this very annoying. This is the second book I have listened to by this author. I didn’t like the first book either. I only listened to Blood Sisters as it was sent to me. I won’t be listening to J Corry books again

Captivating!

Just when I thought the story was coming to a conclusion another twist arose. It took some getting used to have two narrators but with all the twists and perspectives it made it easier to follow. I really enjoyed Blood Sisters.

I wanted to draw it out a bit but had to keep listening. Really enjoyed this story.

Very long and drawn out

A very long and drawn out story that could have easily ended chapters before it did.
