Twenty-five-year-old Lexi Salenko is an independent and focused young woman who has realized her dream of moving to the open country of Montana and starting up a quaint bookstore. A steamy fast paced listen
Q- What did you love best about Conjuring Darkness?
A- I loved the sassiness of Lexi & Marci... Lexi's love for her sister, Kate.... I loved the loyalty shown by The Kid when Lexi first showed up.... The action, the history, the love scenes, the paranormal... what's not to love??
Q- What other book might you compare Conjuring Darkness to and why?
A- This is a hard question to answer.... I don't think I could compare 'Conjuring Darkness' to any other book out there... well atleast to the books that I've read.
Q- What does Kat Marlowe bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
A- I love how Kat has a different voice for each character, their interactions are fun to listen to.... I'm not sure I change my voice in my head when reading....
Q- Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
A- There were a few scenes that moved me.... all of which were the steamy scenes. I must say Kat narrated those scenes very well, if I was reading them I'd have had to put my book down for a bit.
Q- Any additional comments?
A- With the length of this audiobook, I'm not too sure I was able to retain as much information as I would have if I was reading the book. I did enjoy listening to this book, although I feel as if I lost alot of information, all my fault, not Kat's or Melanie's... but I do intend to read the book when I can so I'll know for sure. I definitely couldn't llisten to this audiobook in 1 sitting, it took me the weekend, as I have a 6 year old & earphones start to hurt after an hour or 2.
