Einer der großen Mephisto-Darsteller im Theater, Joachim Meyerhoff, liest. Fast behäbig wirkt seine Erzählstimme; umso kraftvoller skizziert er die Figuren, allen voran den Mephisto. Schmeichlerisch, hämisch, hinterhältig wird er da lebendig. So dargeboten, öffnet sich große Dichtung schon kleinen Leuten!
