Hosted by writer-activists Dr Randa Abdel-Fattah and Sara Saleh, 2 Pals & a Pod is where feminist praxis meets decolonial side-eye. In a world gaslighting us into silence, we say the unsayable, with plenty of receipts, rage, and real tenderness. Each episode, we sit down with thinkers, artists, advocates, and organisers who refuse to be polite in the face of genocide. We hope these conversations will educate, inspire, and mobilise communities towards justice and liberation.

Weekly episode drops on MONDAY.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this land, the Darug people, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present. We honour their continuing connection to Country, waters, and culture.

    The third episode of 2 Pals & a Pod with Dr Bushra Othman is out now. Dr Othman is the first Palestinian-'Australian' woman doctor to go to Gaza, and recently returned from her third medical mission there.

    On this episode, Dr Othman talks about starvation as a deliberate strategy to fracture communities, the gendered impact of genocidal violence, the responsibilities of medical professionals in a time of genocide, and how she used instant coffee packets to help a 13 year old boy with his physio sessions.

    We’re joined by Tan Safi, Gadigal-born, award-winning filmmaker, writer, and member of the Gaza Freedom Flotilla crew aboard the Handala. Tan and fellow crew members were abducted in international waters by Israeli authorities in July this year, as they attempted to bring aid into Gaza and break the illegal blockade.

    Tune in as we explore Tan’s journey, what activism means in everyday life, who carries its weight, and how we can contribute in meaningful ways.
