Fast fashion brands have never been more popular, pumping out tens of thousands of new designs every week at rock-bottom prices, with countless social media influencers showing off their 'hauls' on Instagram and TikTok.

But how are these clothes made so quickly, and at such a low cost to us as consumers? Is it all a result of slave labour and terrible environmental practices, or are they some benefits of fast fashion?

The Quicky speaks to two fashion experts to find out exactly what counts as 'fast fashion', why it's so hard for us to give up, whether it is the only option for diverse body types, and if there is a reasonably priced alternative.
