Thrilling at every turn.

Simply masterful! Sean Barrett is outstanding! Onto the next in the series, but first, I am grieving a little for the end of an era as the Courtney family saga takes a dramatic turn.

Always a shame when you get to the end...!

Once again Sean Barrett absolutely smashes it! I can't imagine someone else reading one of these books, and it is a delight to hear each one read by this amazingly talented voice!
And now onto the next one!
I thoroughly recommend this to anyone who likes well read, well written stories. And hey, who doesn't like a bit of Sean Courtney?!!

An African thriller

A fantastic story of a man's power and greed set on background of war, civil unrest and the early days of the Union of South Africa.

absolutely loved this story...good for the soul

the narrator was very good, I found his voice relaxing and easy to listen to.
the story always had me questioning what would happen next, and then surprise or shock me. Almost all of my emotions were felt reading this book. I found the dog fight scene very difficult to listen to and actually skipped it. But otherwise loved this book

a Sparrow falls / Wilbur Smith / Sean Barret

I have read all of the books written by Wilbur Smith, that on it's own tells a story. Since I have started procuring the Audible copies to enjoy them once more. This is the second copy narrated by Sean Barret, which I have thoroughly enjoyed and which complements the well written and researched book.

A masterpiece!!

This is easily my favourite book. Some wonderful characters in an interwoven, marauding story line that is expertly delivered. Romance, tragedy, greed, power. The battle of human emotions and development. An unbelievably climatic ending. Brilliant!!!
