兄頼朝の勘気に触れた義経は吉野山で静とも別れて逃避行を重ね、やがて悲劇的な末路へと向かって行くのである。一方、鎌倉へ護送された静は生まれた男子(義経の子)が惨殺されて失意の日々を過ごしているが、ある日、頼朝の前での舞を所望される。鎌倉八幡宮の仮舞台に静の歌声が流れ、舞が始まった。「吉野山 峰の白雪踏み越えて入りにし人のあとぞ恋しき」。さらに「しずやしず しずのおだまき繰り返し昔を今になすよしもがな」。義経を恋い慕い、義経の世の到来を公然と願う大胆さに激怒する頼朝。怒りを鎮めたのは頼朝の妻・政子であった。「静は夫・義経を慕う貞女。とがめを恐れぬまことの心に私も涙がこぼれます。どうぞまげて静を褒めてやってください」。しばしの静寂の後、頼朝の声が響いた。「大儀、あっぱれな舞である!」。周りからどっと挙る称賛の声。志を通し満足感に頬を紅潮させる静…。彼女は帰郷すると剃髪して読経三昧の日々を送り、二十一歳の若さで世を去った。鎌倉の松の緑とともに語り継がれるおなじみの一席。一龍斎春水(いちりゅうさいはるみ):神奈川県藤沢市出身。声優を志し、声優、黒沢良の主宰校に入学。声優『麻上洋子』での代表作は「宇宙戦艦ヤマト」ヒロイン森雪等。平成4年に講談師・一龍斎貞水に入門。一龍斎春水(はるみ)を名乗る。平成16年に真打ち昇進。一龍斎門下初の女流講談師となる。女性が語って意味ある講談を探求。(C)WING ENTERPRISE
