Graduate of Columbia University School of the Arts Masters Program, Barbara is the founding owner of Barbara J Zitwer Agency working with international writers, agents, publishers and the Korean Government to sell and promote literature around the world. Duties include choosing the best material for publication, grant writing for translation, publishing and marketing of books, editing, writing press releases and stories for press, administration of a 15- member global sales team, ghostwriting, accounting, contract negotiations with publishers and film companies, travelling to Seoul Book Fair, London Book Fair, Frankfurt Books Fairs yearly.

Recipient of 2016 Honors from Korean Ministry of Cultural Affairs for Introducing Korean Literature to the world.
