"Stay with us, Kat," Melissa chimed in.
"Okay," I said. I kicked off my shoes, took off my coat, and slid inside the sleeping bag. Sarah joined me, cuddling against me. Melissa blew out the lantern light then found her place inside the sleeping bag. I was now between the two of them. Sarah laid her head on my shoulder; Melissa did the same.
