As a newcomer to the alien tribe, I've struggled to find my place. It might be because I'm a tad headstrong at times. And yes, I might have thrown a few things at people's heads. But I had a good reason to pitch a fit - my shy sister was stolen away right under my nose. Of course, now she's back and mated. Everyone's happy...except me.

Loved this story! The narrators’ performance was top notch, representing the two lead characters personalities to the tee! Maddie and Hassen were perfect for each other and I loved how they didn’t fight their attraction but went with the flow leading to the eventual HEA! 😘😘😘

I love the whole series! Fantastic world building that describes how stranded modern women integrate into a tribal culture of tall, hot, and build, matter of fact aliens - all wrapped up with a steamy sexy sweet romance. The characters are all unique throughout the whole series. Some books have more action then others, which focus more on tribal life and personal struggles. I can't even pick one book as my favourite - I'm afraid you'll have to read them all including the spin off series 'Ice Home'. Fantastic male/ female narrators for the audiobook version too.

I love Maddie and Hassen story it's so much fun to listen too, I can't eat for Stacy and Pashov book. Hollie and Mason thanks guys you are both terrific.

I really loved Liz's story and it remains my favourite, I thought she was the sassiest, but maddie is running a close 2nd. I must admit I wanted to slap her for being so petulant. and even though she's got that witty personality, like Liz, she's not quite as enjoyable to listen to, mainly because shes not as likeable or capable. Liz is cooler.
but towards the end of the book, a revelation is upon maddie which changes everything..Including my opinion.
this book sets up book 9 and I'm glad as it's adding some angst to the series. I'm wondering how it's all going to end up.
I wasn't going to go on to book 9. just leave off for awhile. but I need to know what happens. I figure the next book will be sad..due to what happened in this story but there seems to be a lot going on. steamy, hot romance and big blue boys....
I really enjoyed this book. (suprise, suprise )
now i have to go to novel 9
Mason is brilliant , just love him and his unique ability to bring the barbarians to life.
hollie does well with all her female characters.
