My tribesmates don't understand her. The other humans think she's weak. But no one knows my mate like I do. They don't see her gentle heart or her brave spirit. I know why she struggles. I know how strong she is. And I know I'll do anything to make her smile.

But can I convince her that she can be happy in this strange new world with me?

***Anxiety is a silent disease***

Thank you Ruby for tackling one of societies taboo illness. Yes mental illness still carries a stigma and it doesn't help the people who suffers from this crippling disease. I suffer from bad anxiety and panic attacks and reading and listening to books helped me tremendously. Thanks again I love Ari and Zolaya his the sweetest I wished all people(men) are that understanding. Hollie and Mason are both brilliant in the narratives and I love them both thanks guys x

Book 18 and it shows

This is listed as both book 16 and 18 in Audible. Either way, the series is now long in the tooth. Loved the first half dozen, liked the next half dozen, but am suffering fatigue at book 18. Kitchy, fun inside jokes (the spur!) and sayings (ain’t nothing sweeter than the taste of ...) now seem to be perfunctory, check the box types of required plot points. This is Ariana and Zoleya’s story. The author needs to have a gimmick to distinguish each new gal, so Ariana’s is anxiety. That means lots of crying, whining, and panic attacks. For me, even though the way Zo relates to her disability is sweet, this plot device killed the romance and sexiness in slow, tedious fashion. I LOVED books 1, 2, and 3 ... and after listening to the first 6 as part of the monthly Audible Escapes package, liked them enough to purchase the next 12 during the holiday 50% off sale. I now have buyer’s remorse. Each book becomes a lesser clone of the books that came before. The best thing I can say for the series is that both narrators are amazing. Holly has a nearly unfathomable ability to voice each female in a unique voice. 18 females, and the only one I hated was Marlene. Mason has the perfect, sexy, blue alien tone ... even if he doesn’t quite differentiate them as much. While not awful, I’d rather have saved my money and just re-listened to books 1-6.

Past and present

This was past and present story. It started out in the present and then went to the past so that we could get Zolaya and Ariana’s story. Then it came back to the present to finish up. It was fun going back to the beginning when everything was still new and the humans and Sa’kui had just met. Arianna was the human who cried a lot. Normally I would find that annoying. But the fact that Arianna also found that annoying made it not so bad. She struggled with anxiety and Zolaya was so good to her. He watched her and learned to recognize when her “mind avalanche” would start. He learned how to soothe and calm her. It made him very endearing.

it makes sense

I like it, tho I wouldn't never imagine this was the reason why Ariana cry so much but it makes sense. I loveee Analai's convetsations with his mother. This book is a most if you want to keep a very human perspective.

I love these books⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hollie Jackson and Mason Lloyd are superb narrators in this series. And Mason is just yummy. I love the series. I look forward to each book. I confess Ari is not my favorite human this time (she has a legit reason and Ms. Dixon gave her a very sweet and understanding mate) and I love these big blue alpha aliens in each story. They're fiercely loyal and sexy. Lots of fun. Ms. Dixon knows how to entertain and there's humor too. I'll be sad when the series ends but I've enjoyed her other series too.

Another great story

I waited a long time for this book and was not disappointed. I love the way the author deals with panic attacks and anxiety disorder in such a positive way. Holly Jackson and Mason Lloyd once again did a wonderful job narrating. Can’t wait for the next book.
