Story0
My story is about the Chappel Brothers Corporation, (CBC) and the hundreds of thousands of wild horses their cowboys caught and branded, from 1927 - 1938, on the open range in Eastern Montana. The book is historical fiction based on true facts. To tell how it happened, I have created several fictional characters based on the actual men that did the gathering, branding, and shipping of the thousands of horses they gathered. I have also used some names and stories of people that were involved with the CBC.
