Trailer Park Travails

Nothing is easy, nothing works out the way you expect. These are lessons learned by Patty Decker when she finds herself living in a travel trailer in a park in Florida. With a bit of a chip on her shoulder she winds up solving the mystery of her neighbor's murder. She liked him a lot better after he was dead.

The retirement communities of Florida bring together a very diverse group of residents. Close communities bring out the best in some people and the worst in others. Patty Decker lives in a 55+ Mobile Home and RV Park on the Nature Coast of Florida. She's getting better at being a friend (evidence is that she has a couple of them now) but sometimes that lands her in uncomfortable situations. She accidentally acquires a truck-load of dirt. When a body is discovered sticking out of it, nearly everyone in the park becomes a suspect, except her. Never mind that it was her dirt, her truck, her driveway, and they had just had an altercation; that's all circumstantial, right? Dr. Catherine has to defend her ne'er-do-well nephew, the pastor—again.
