The Two Timer

Adam Potter returned to Cargo City wanting to start a new life after recovering from a nasty breakup with his cheating ex-boyfriend. Adam bought a three-story building, opening his own detective agency, hiring a flirtatious college student for an assistant. Adam’s first case fell from a tree. Patrick Valdez is a blue blood aristocrat who loves to Cosplay, but also has a stalker who hides behind masks. He wants to get away from his devious boyfriend who’s blackmailing him.

Adam Potter never thought going home for his birthday would be so stressful. Adam’s father (who he calls mom) guilts him into return home for a birthday dinner. He brings Patrick and Justin to meet everyone. While giving them a tour of the town, Patrick discovers a disturbing site. A troublesome neighbor is discovered dead in the town his family owns and Adam's mom becomes a suspect. Dark secrets surface that everyone wished would stay buried. Adam has to find who is framing his mother before he’s charged with murder. 

Detectives A.J. Chance and Artie Cutter get assigned to investigate a murder in a familiar part of town. The detectives discover the victim had a connection to an old case they thought was closed, involving Patrick Valdez's and A.J.'s past relationships with Detective Adam Potter.  A killer is out hunting people down who were involved with Patrick’s deceased abusive ex, and Patrick’s on the killer’s radar. Adam has to keep Patrick safe and watch his own back as the killer gets closer.

Detective Adam Potter can’t be happier having Patrick move in with him. But there is a downside. Adam had asked his aristocrat to unpack his bags and boxes, and Patrick is accustomed to having servants do everything for him. Patrick Valdez is truly on cloud nine when Adam asked him to move in with him. But he is finding the transition into Adam’s world taxing. He misses having other people at his beck and call when he needs something done.

Devin Murphy wants to leave his violent past with Piper Monroe and find a happier, calmer life; he can only accomplish this by being a key witness in a court case against the man. When two undercover officers try to take him to a safe house before the trial, Devin finds both men dead in a restaurant’s restroom and runs for his life. Molly Basset, owner of adult shop The Pleasure Hole, finds Devin on a park bench, crying. She gives him a job and helps him start a new life.
