The Things We Leave Behind

After losing almost everything and everyone he has ever valued or love, an aspiring writer decides to write one last story before the COVID virus strain of 2023 claims his life. What he doesn't realize is that his last story may very well save the lives of future generations to come - with God giving the people of Earth a second chance.

So says a man named Davis, an aspiring writer who, after losing almost everything and everyone he has ever valued or loved, decides to write one last story before the Covid virus strain of 2023 claims his life as well - or the power and internet fails, whichever comes first. 

After his estranged father suddenly goes off the radar, Brian Davis pays a long, overdue visit to his childhood home to find his father dead from the Covid 5 virus...or was it something far more sinister and human behind his demise? After logging into his father's computer and reading the last story he was working on - a literal magnum opus of faith and hope, along with some very accusatory remarks about corruption in our government - he realizes his father may have become a human target.

The crazy lady wanders and wanders and wanders, and without ever really going anywhere. There's really nowhere to go. Except forward - and away from her past. Her past is a hard thing to escape, too. Since becoming one of the vultures, her whole life has felt like just one small piece of a universal puzzle. So far, for the crazy lady, the other pieces of the puzzle have failed to fall into place. So she wanders. As she wanders, so does her mind.
