I’ve been a receptionist at a law firm for over a year now, and it’s just as boring as it sounds. It is, however, the best-paying job I’ve ever had in my twenty-seven years. So, as a single mom, I have to tough it out for my kids. But then, when I least suspect it, things take a surprising turn for me. I just don’t know if I want to go down that path again.
