The Orzare Chronicles

The Northern Alliance and the nations to the south seem to be in a never-ending cycle of war and destruction. Flynn Matthews, a typical farm boy, unfortunately finds himself at a geographical disadvantage during these war times when he experiences a terrible childhood tragedy which flings him into a world of chaos and magic. After suffering his loss, he is taken in by a local temple to apprentice in the magical arts. When his apprenticeship ends, he is tasked to a secret assignment which is riddled with supernatural complications.

 Having finished one leg of his journey, Flynn’s Head Mistress focuses his attention on a new and more dangerous assignment. Flynn finds himself traveling alongside a group of strangers who he soon considers to be friends and valuable allies. They travel throughout the lands to locate the remaining threats, all while attempting to avoid the military conflict that plagues the north. Meanwhile, his old companions find themselves in precarious situations of their own. 

With yet another archangel in the mix, Flynn is assigned to his latest supernatural task. As his journey continues, he finds himself questioning so many past notions of truth, losing trust in those he thought he would never question. Flynn separates himself from the foundations of his past as he builds his skills for the arduous journey that lays ahead.
