The Logan Bridges Chronicles

Logan Bridges starts his day in a sleepy rural town with a few chores that have been hanging on his “to do” list for too long. Then he accidently discovers that magic is real. Initially this is just an incredible oddity. But before he can decide what to do with his discovery, his world starts changing, slowly at first but then faster. Soon events threaten to spiral out of control.

After a demon is narrowly defeated (in FUHAMMER, book one of this series), everyone wants to know how it overcame defenses that had held for over a thousand years. Logan investigates the scattered clues with the help of the fairies and leprechauns. Many findings don’t seem to fit how magic is supposed to work. Perhaps this was a one-time anomaly, never to be repeated or understood.

The discovery of a portal that allows travel to other worlds (in Demon’s Postern, book two of this series) proved exciting and dangerous. The explorers now face questions. Can they continue to explore strange worlds while remaining safe? Should they even try? What about the problems left unresolved in their world?

An unexpected visit from the military launches Logan on a secret mission to save a group of stranded explorers. His role is small but critical: open a magical portal and then stand back and let the team do the rescue. But the plan runs into difficulties, and soon, Logan finds himself in an adventure that he is unprepared for, and the military doesn’t expect him to be involved. The race to save the adventures quickly turns into a race to save himself.

After unexpected adventures while helping DPREM determine the fate of a research submersible lost off the coast of a Hawaiian island, Logan returns home. With two demons and a homicidal elf still at large, Logan certainly has enough to worry about. After a day of exploring other worlds with his friends, he heads west with his leprechaun mentor to pursue an emergent clue that might lead to one of the demons. While the evidence is slight, it can't be ignored. Luckily for Logan, he finds groups of magic users eager to help him at every turn in his journey.
