The Ghost Between Us

Toby Miller just hung up the phone with his wife, Anna 20 minutes ago. When it rings again, the voice calling from his wife’s phone isn’t Anna. “Mister Miller, your wife’s been in an accident.” Toby makes a promise to honor Anna’s last wish that he carries out their dream of living in the mountains of Tennessee, follow his own goals and, as paranormal enthusiasts, to “keep chasing ghosts.” When he settles into his “Forever House,” the house is anything but settled. Instead of chasing ghosts on investigations, he’s the one being chased.

It’s been two months since Toby Miller lost his wife and best friend in a car accident. He’s doing the best he can to learn to live again without her. He learns of his gift - a gift he’s not sure he wants. His new friend is keeping something from him. The truth? A lie? A secret? If he learns the truth, will he regret ever asking questions? When the entities in the house become more sinister, they have to prepare. But for what? Dowsing rods, a crystal and a spirit box won’t help where they’re going.

Toby and Alex are trapped in a place they thought would help them. Alex has been threatened by an entity strong enough to silence the chaotic apparitions that have haunted Toby’s house. What did they mean? Was it more of a warning than a threat?
