The Demon Lords of Blackwood

A sane witch would never summon the immortal Demon Lords of Blackwood. Not if she expects to keep breathing. Everyone knows that. So imagine my surprise when, in a reckless and drunken effort to avenge my sister's death, I summon a revenge demon.

Demons don't know how to love. Since I don't mix summoning and relationships, that's fine by me. But neither of those facts keeps us from sneaking into each other's bedrooms at night. And day. And pretty much any time not spent tracking down Em's killer. It was supposed to be a bluff. Going to them after they took everything—my apartment, my job. It was a power move. But now I'm here, living with three dangerous, powerful demons who can't decide if they want to bone me or bury me.

Blackwood is under siege and it's all my fault. My conscience won't let me rest until I've made sure the outcasts living here are safe. No harm will come to them because of my actions. And, since the Lords are out of commission—also my fault—they can't stop me. But it also means they can't bail me out. I have to figure this out on my own, or I'll never find closure on Em's murder. So I'll step through that portal. I'll face my fears and desires alike because Blackwood is in danger. And no one messes with my city.
