Old Wombs of War

Marilyn Chane is sixty-years-old and well past the normal child-bearing years. She has been married a number of times, had a family and yet finds herself with no partner late in life. Ralph, her friend since childhood and sometimes lover, introduces her to Mr. Drop-Dead gorgeous. Finally, things are looking up.

A vape drug appears on the scene that improves the life of the elderly but when young adults fall for the sex benefits the drug provides, the whole country is impacted. The country learns of the sterility, cancer and other devastating problems drug use causes. Now the young adults can’t or won’t have children and the country is suffering from an epic population decline.

Marilyn and her eighty-five-year-old mother not only give birth again but convince others to do so. Things are looking up again when Ralph stumbles into the conspiracy of why the drug was created in the first place. Attempts are made on his life and everyone in Marilyn’s life. How can she carry the nation's children and protect her family from unknown persons?
