Monster Bites

I’m the Hyrrokin High Priest of a remote monastery on the planet Salo. I spend my days in quiet contemplation, keeping my flame-throwing banked and nursing my war wounds. And I take my vows of silence and celibacy very seriously. Very. Seriously. Then one day a mouthy, gorgeous human female is dumped onto the stone steps of the main altar. And suddenly I’m tempted like never before.

Firebrook Castle is haunted. I never believe silly ghost stories…until I suddenly inherit the crumbling Firebrook estate. And now I’m a human bravely staying the night in an old ruin to prove that tales of ghostly Hyrrokin soldiers are just that…tall tales. And then I scream like a little girl when I discover a black-horned, satanic-looking male standing at the foot of my bed, who isn’t entirely corporeal. Each night this scary, shirtless apparition with an exquisite six-pack of abs hovers at my bedside. Is this “ghost” stalking me? And…why do I like it?

A winged satanic-looking male left his baby on my doorstep. Why he chose to leave his adorable infant on the porch of a total stranger, and the only human female on Salo for miles, I’ll never know. Babies are completely foreign to me. But I do my best to feed and care for her as if she were my own. Whispered footsteps and the faint brush of feathers from something muscular and possessive silently enters my home. And then one day I fully see him—the baby’s father. My breath catches in my throat as this devil—slash—angel wraps his white wings around me. 

I’m on the Omega 9 space station in the midst of a bungled prison transfer. Handcuffed to a scary, impossibly tall, satanic-looking convict. Holy hell. And I’m on the run with him because it turns out he’s breaking out of prison?

He sat behind me in Intergalactic High School, pulling on my braids with silver-tipped claws. Knocking my books to the ground and smoke-laughing at my dismay. He was always there, lurking around, scaring away all my possible dates.

I scented my mate and she disappeared before we could meet, leaving behind a forgotten piece of clothing. It’s driving me crazy. I’ve checked every unmated human female, asking if this mysterious red fabric is hers. Pissing off other males in the process, but what do I care? I’m on a quest to find my future bound, no matter what.
