Fresh off a breakup and an eviction, I started my day like any other: a book in one hand, a coffee in the other, and faking that can-do attitude inspirational memes are made of. I was ready to take on the world—and I did. Unfortunately, it was the Underworld. One freak accident later, I’m standing face to face with the sexy-as-sin and dangerously powerful Prince of the Underworld. Trapped beneath the world of the living, my only goals are escape and survival. But once Dominic realizes I’m more than a human with a streak of bad luck, leaving becomes far more complicated—and far more dangerous. In a realm ruled by monsters, I’m either used as bait to force Dominic’s hand or targeted in assassination attempts meant to weaken his rule. In Underworld politics, alliances are weapons, and every weakness is exploited.

Then the Dark Prince’s enemy stole it from me—becoming something far more dangerous than either of us anticipated. Armed with my stolen power, their goal is simple: destroy everything tied to Dominic’s world. That includes me. The supernatural world is unraveling. Dominic’s life is in danger, my loved ones are caught in the crossfire, and the Underworld stands on the brink of collapse. Survival is no longer about escape or alliances.
