Men with this gift become Spellswords, skillful wielders of both blade and Phyrim, while women become Magicians, powerful wielders of the elements of magic itself.

Together they stand as protectors of the realm. But looming in the shadows lurks a threat spawned with the intent of killing all humans - the Churai. Over centuries they have become more adept at removing Spellswords and Magicians from their path, and the world begs for anyone to come forward to stop them. In two remote parts of the northern continent a pair of children come to realize their destiny, bound together by their telepathic bond.
