I just never expected one of my rescue calls to be a werewolf pup.

Not like I knew it when I showed up, but something was definitely different about him. His snout was too round, his ears too pointed, and I'd thought he was a coydog; one of those dog-coyote mixes that showed up now and then.

That was before he bit me. And even an alpha pup can change an innocent mortal like me into a shape-shifting powerhouse.
