Publisher's Summary

I am a latent wolf shifter. Or so I thought. Then, life as I knew it changed in a flash - or more accurately, an electrocution.

I’ve woken up in a strange place, surrounded by strange people who hate me. They’re in the middle of a war, and I look like I belong on the wrong side of it. If that’s not enough to qualify as a really bad day, I now have wings and a strange animal to figure out because it turns out that there’s not a damn latent thing about me.

If I want to live, I have to prove that I’m not the spy I’m accused of being. Then, I need to figure out how the f--k to get back home before all hell breaks loose.

Too bad my animal has zero interest in working with me unless it has to do with the two hot assholes that lead this rebel group.

I’m on my own, in a place I’ve never even heard of, with threats I don’t know how to defeat. And lucky me, I might as well have a rotisserie chicken living inside of me for all the help my newly discovered gryphon is.

Perfect. Just f--king perfect.

Amazing story!!! Amazing audio!!!

Lots of times you read a book and then when you get the audiobook it is soooo bad that you just can’t even. Totally NOT the case with this. Ivy Asher has done an amazing job creating this new world and introducing some great characters. I’m excited to find out what else is going to happen in this series and eagerly await the next audiobook. I also read the stories because I’m WAY too impatient to wait for the audiobook to find out what happens next. So far all of Ashers audiobooks are spot on in the performance as well as the overall storyline. So yeah this book was TOTALLY worth the money and or credit used to get the book. Enjoy!!

Great read

This is a must read. If you’re reading this deciding if you should buy it...buy it! It’s totally worth it! I loved everything about it. I loved the heroine beyond words. She wasn’t some dumb stupid young thing. She handled business when she needed to. The heroine, who has 4 long names and says them at every opportunity is taking her grandmother’s ashes to the place her grandmother wanted them spread. When she gets there she somehow gets teleported to another dimension/reality. She goes from thinking she’s a latent wolf shifter to a griffin shifter who can actually shift. Her world completely spirals from there, learning new things, meeting new people, getting into trouble. She ends up finding out why she’s there and what she needs to do to help the people there. My description isn’t doing the book justice. It really is a great read. Don’t let my inferior description skills deter you. Lol. Happy reading! Warning: This did end on a cliffhanger but I’m definitely okay with buying the rest of the series.

Super entertaining

The story is very entertaining and the narration is EXCELLENT!! The story is unique and I enjoyed it immensely. The main girl is stubborn and can curse like a sailor, which makes for some hilarious and interesting parts. There is also some romance and adventure. It is so good I listened to the audiobook in one go! Just note that this has a cliffhanger. I am excited to read the next book and will listen to it when the audiobook is available too.

Griffin Shifters? Who knew?

I enjoyed the book. I have really long boring commutes. If a book doesn't grab my interest, I am out of there. I was interested ftom the start. This book did have romantic moments. The author seems to imply a love triangle being setup for her second book in the series. I am not into reverse harem books, as I just end up thinking the characters are stupid to put up with it. The female lead seems to know what she wants and so does her Griffin which could make love very complicated. Interested in seeing what the next book brings.

6 chapters in and I'm laughing out loud

"I will fucking crush your heads" she is hilarious. Her internal monologue is so funny, and what comes out of her mouth is even better
