I could care less about the fate of humanity myself, but hey, when it’s your job, you gotta do something, right?

My Hellicorn keeps pestering me to take a trip to the beach with him, my pet demons want a family fun day out, and my demon partner wants to start a war with the local Yakuza clan.... And that’s just before breakfast. As the FPD’s only occult investigator, I deal with a lot more than your average cop, and often that means babysitting a bunch of volatile demons...when I’m not working cases that is. Speaking of which, a pregnant girl has walked into the precinct claiming she has a monster in her belly, put there by a demon-worshiping cult.

When I put down Derrick Savage, the werewolf mercenary that killed my wife and daughter, I thought I was the light to his darkness. But as it turned out, killing him only unleashed yet more darkness. Now I have the rest of Savage’s pack out to get me, a bunch of bloodthirsty mercenaries who will stop at nothing to avenge the death of their pack member, even if that means targeting those closest to me. 

After dumping the body of a serial killer on my former boss’ desk, I handed in my cop badge, which I’ve replaced with an FBI badge. Yep, I’m a fed. I work for Special Affairs, a clandestine department tasked with policing the occult underground.

Hell awaits for those who deserve it...and those who don’t. So it’s finally happened. I’m going to Hell. Some would argue, including me, that it was inevitable. But I’m not going to Hell to be punished - at least not yet - but to save my daughter’s soul. Wendell Knightsbridge has me over a barrel. If I want to save Callie’s soul, I have to go to Hell for him, and once I’m there, I have to find Lucifer and somehow steal the Devil’s energy to send back to Knightsbridge. I’m sure it’ll be a snap, like taking candy from a baby. Yeah right.
