Desperate Times

Dom’s life has never been easy. He’s fought for everything he has. Forged in the fires of poverty and neglect, he’s spent years building a life for himself. And it seems like everything is finally coming together. He lives on his own in a decent house at the edge of town, he works for himself writing novels, he’s debt-free, and, most recently, his relationship with his hot best friend and her sexy friend seems to be heading somewhere a lot more fun. But everything is about to change.

Since a wave of climate change, viruses, and new conflicts had been tearing the world apart bit by bit, Dom had fully expected the apocalypse to come along any day now. So when a solar flare released a worldwide EMP that knocked out power everywhere, he wasn’t surprised when society began to collapse almost immediately.

Dom has managed to lead Anya and Chloe, and now Emily, across the state in an epic, desperate journey for survival. Bad weather, dangerous people, and a world gone crazy are all standing in between them and the safety of his isolated property. The game changes again when they pick up a new addition: Grace, a blonde loner who prefers to be on her own but reluctantly joins their group because she has nowhere else to go. Though her help will up their chances of survival, the way ahead is only going to become more dangerous....
