Publisher's Summary

Love could cost me everything.

It's love that keeps me coming home, to the beautiful house full of ugly secrets. As soon as I'm 18, as soon as I can take custody of my little sister myself, I'm going to run.

Survivors don't fall in love.

But my world is turned upside down by four mysterious men. The heat between us is intense. Their protectiveness feels real. Overnight, they become gods in our town. They can't seem to stay away from me. I can't resist them.

Lovers don't survive.

I can't risk my chance to save my sister, though. Not even to save my heart.

Is there any hope I can take care of her...and still lose myself in the arms of these men?

Contains mature themes.

A nice RH story

Simplistic but enjoyable paranormal RH plot, and that's okay. It "feels" like that's how the author wants it - a clear heroine, a clear villain, with room for tension-y romance to bloom. I try to avoid books narrated by Chris Chambers, who always sounds like he's auditioning for the cheesiest car commercial ever, but most of the story is told from the lead female POV, so that was manageable.. The cliffhanger was nothing jarring...just a gentle conclusion. I did feel like the climatic "big reveal", which you knew about because...well...the title and all.., the moment we'd all been waiting for, was...er...anti-climatic. Will I buy the next story? Yes. Will I rush over to do it right away? No. It's a good read, just not as powerful, or sneak-up-on-you-steamy, or plot-twisty as Lane Whitt's "Finding My Pack" series, which is so good, I feel like I owe the author more money every time I read it. Similar plot, way superior read.

Loved it

i absolutely love the book. the story pulls you in. i cant wait to hear the others. My only gripe is chapter 23, the reader you can hear every single breath he took. it honestly started to piss me off to the point of making a review on it... that takes alot.

Their Shifter Princess

This was such a great story. There are so many times where I wanted to jump up and shake Piper or yell out in excitement. I can’t wait to see where the story brings Piper and her guys.

Loved it!

I really loved this story and following Piper trying to escape the crap world she thought she was dealt to only find it was a lie! So good! Plus, loved the audiobook!
