As the series progresses into Deltora Shadowlands and Dragons of Deltora, parts two and three of the story, even more trials and tribulations await those who inhabit the land and those who are trying to save it.

The best-selling fantasy series Deltora Quest has won over millions of kids all around the world with its adventurous blend of brainteasers, puzzles and mysteries. Created by the award-winning Australian writer Emily Rodda, the audiobooks are ideal for car journeys, with parents able to join in the experience with their children.

Under her real name Jennifer Rowe, she has also produced various murder mystery novels for adults, including the Verity Birdwood books.

Ron Haddrick is the voice that has become synonymous with the series. A former cricketer, he'll be known to many through a distinguished theatre and TV career that has led to various awards for his service to the performing arts. His authoritative yet playful tone reflects the environment of Deltora perfectly, giving added depth to the story and helping listeners get lost in the experience.

Since being published in Australia in 2000, Deltora Quest has been published in more than 30 countries, selling over 15 million copies worldwide. An anime adaptation of Deltora Quest aired on Japanese television and Australian television in 2007. Rodda said that she chose this option because she and her kids ‘love Japanese anime, and want any adaptation of Deltora to be cool’.
