Lief, Barda and their unruly new companion, Jasmine, are on a perilous quest to find the seven gems stolen from the magic Belt of Deltora. The golden topaz has already been found. But only when all the gems have been restored to the Belt can their land be freed from the dark power of the evil Shadow Lord. To find the second stone, the three heroes must travel through territory rules by the monster-sorceress Thaegan. Their journey is filled with treachery, trickery and danger, and at its end they must face the hideous guardian of the enchanted Lake of Tears.

I read only one of the deltora books as a kid and loved them but never had a chance to read all of them. As an adult who loves high fantasy, it's a very quick listen and a lovely story of good and evil. Can't wait to finish the series

I like the fight against thaegan, the fight against the lake monster and when Leif, Barda and Jasminesave Manis.

The end of the book stands out the most.

Absolutely love this narrator. Spoken with such passion you can imagine everything that is said. Have listened to the first 3 books. Can’t wait to purchase the rest. Thank you so much 🙏🙏

Deltora Quest novels are what could be considered very short books, totalling a few hours of listening/reading. Good narration, good quality audio, far too short for the price here. You can buy the entire Series 1 anthology for $20 AUD in book format. Why would you want to spend a little over $15 AUD PER audio book? And that's with the Audible membership discount.
These books need to be in a collection for $30, or a token. I absolutely refuse to spend over $100 or 10+ tokens for a collection of short novels. It's a shame because Deltora Quest books are such amazing adventures. Just not worth it when I can get another fantasy adventure that's 10-20 hours long for a token.
Hope to see a full version some day soon - this isn't worth it at all to me.
